Resource #1: The cPanel Videos

"cPanel" is one of the most popular front-ends to many web hosting accounts. It's very powerful - and, sometimes very confusing! That's why this professionally-made series of videos are so useful.

You might have watched these in the Training Area in my Download Library, available only to subscribers to my "Marketing Update" newsletter subscribers.

Now I'm giving you a chance to benefit from these videos in three ways:

I've raved about this software for months! It really is the easiest way I know to put audio onto your website. All you need is a $15 microphone - nothing else! The software:

• Records from your microphone (or you can add in a pre-recorded sound file)
• Adds background music if you want (choice of 10 tracks)
• Creates "Play", "Pause" and "Stop" buttons any size and colour you want
• Sends (optionally) the visitor to any web page of your choice at the end of the recording (a great and almost unique marketing feature)
• Generates all the code you need to copy and paste into your web page

I've used nothing else since I bought it. I've used it to make the audio you maybe have listened to further up this page! This software has done for video what "Impact Web Audio" has done for audio. And website video is currently hot, hot, hot!!    

It's made it really easy to turn your videos into a format playable on any website.

OK, you've still got to actually record the video and get the video file onto your computer's hard drive.

But, after that, it's a snap! You don't need to be a "video wizard". The software takes care of all that!

Not yet into video making? You should be! Webcam? $20! Camcorder $200! You pay the money, you get the quality.

OK, so you're not going to be a pro movie maker. But, whatever the quality of your video, having one one your website will put you ahead of 99% of your competitors. And if you want to see really bad videos, just look at 90% of the stuff on YouTube.com!

Resource #5: 85 Superb PHP Scripts

This is one of the most under-estimated script collections I've ever seen. And I've got to admit that I'm guilty of overlooking it until now. Maybe it's because there are no "eCover graphics" illustrating it!

I've had two copies of this collection gathering electronic dust on my hard drive, and then finally, when I was pulling together "the gems" for this Kit, I started to look seriously at what is included.

Many of the scripts are serious, heavy-weight web applications, developed over the years by professional coders and most of them put in the public domain. Others are simple, easy-to-install web tools - equally professionally developed.

Here's a few things you could do with this collection:

• Pick out one or two and develop them to sell as stand-alone products, such as the "Online Project Management" script, the "Office Intranet" suite of scripts or the "Portal With Content Management" script. You'll make the most profit that way, but it will take longer to set things up.
• Set up membership sites and charge for services offered by, for example, the "Dating Website" script, the "Counter Hosting" script (to provide web page counters) or the "Webstats Link Tracking" script (with two levels of membership and PayPal support). This is a good way of generating a residual income.
• Set up a Script Membership site and offer one or two of these scripts each month - adding value by making videos showing how to install and use each script.
• Hit niche markets by making a package of some of the related scripts and selling them to specific niches. You could even modify some of them and make them highly specialised (e.g. selling the "Reservation Script" to small hotels, suitably branded with their details. There's a lot of nich opportunities in this collection.
• Use them yourself. There are many easy-to-use scripts which you might find useful, such as "The Advanced Guestbook" script, the "FAQ Generator" script or the "OsCommerce Shopping Cart" script.
• Sell the whole collection. This is the "cop out" option. If you do this, please don't fall into the trap of selling it on price alone. Sell the benefits!

Yes, I know that I'm doing the last option here. and I had reservations about including it in my Kit in case the collection got further devalued. But I've added a lot of value by making the collection much more easily accessible. It was a real "dogs breakfast" when I first looked at the collection, and I spent half a day re-organising it and working out ways that people could make more money from it.
