Scotland In Springtime - And A Little Caption Competition!
And Now - The Winner Of The Caption Contest (scroll down)

Ian TraynorHi Folks!

Here are some of the images of birds and scenery which I captured on a birdwatching holiday in Scotland in May 2008.

Speyside, in Scotland, is as far north in Europe as Hudson Bay is in North America. In Southern Hemisphere terms, Tierra Del Fuego, at the southern tip of South America is as far South as Speyside is North!

Compared with either Hudson Bay or Tierra Del Fuego, Speyside has a much more temperate springtime climate.

Caption Contest - The Winners!

Thanks to everyone who entered the spirit of this frivolous little competition :-)

I automatically ruled out everyone who made reference to the bird parus major (Google it ) :-)

After a lot of careful deliberation (and a couple of whiskies) I decided on the winner.

Drum roll..

It's Lee Wheeler from Canada with:

Article Advantage Pro"WOW! You really have to adjust your body for gravity up here."

It's really the size of my brain that's pulling me backwards, Lee :-)

Lee wins a copy of my software suite "Article Advantage Pro", with Resale / Give Away Rights

And the Runners-Up are:

John Cumbow from the USA:

"I never knew birds could DO that while they're flying."

Actually, John, some birds really CAN! (Common Swift, for example)

Darren Adams from Australia:

"Too much Tomintoul can make a man lean backwards for relief!"

Very true, Darren, very true :-) For the uninitiated, "Tomintoul" is one of Scotland's magnificent malt whiskies.

Alison Owen from the UK:

"I can't see anything for this small cloud above my head - it seems to be following me around"

Yes, Alison - I'm thinking of going to see a Consultant Meteoroligist about the problem :-)

John, Darren and Alison each win a copy of the eBook "Positive Thinking To Build Up Your Internet Business And Yourself"

Just WHAT is The Webmaster thinking?
"Thinks Bubble" inserted with one of the CheatKit Graphics Wizard tools

What IS He thinking?

So, here is The Webmaster, standing (posing?) in a patch of snow in the Cairngorm Mountains in Scotland, UK. Is he birdwatching? Or something else..?

Just what IS he thinking?

There's a small (I mean small!) prize for the wittiest / most insulting (but printable!) suggestion.
