Scotland In Springtime - And A Little Caption Competition!
Here are some of the images of birds and scenery which I captured on a birdwatching holiday in Scotland in May 2008. Speyside, in Scotland, is as far north in Europe as Hudson Bay is in North America. In Southern Hemisphere terms, Tierra Del Fuego, at the southern tip of South America is as far South as Speyside is North! Compared with either Hudson Bay or Tierra Del Fuego, Speyside has a much more temperate springtime climate.
